Scalability of the optical output power is a major advantage of our packaging concept. Nearly all of our diode laser products rely on the same design principals: a simple unlensed diode laser stack as well as, a complete laser source for material processing.
The major basic components of DILAS' actively cooled high power diode laser packages and high power diode laser sources is the heat sink for the thermal management, the micro optics and the beam shaping optics. Depending upon the application, the high power diode laser can be packaged with a sealed housing, fiber coupler, fiber, processing optics, etc.
As a major global supplier, DILAS recognizes the importance of quality control and reliability. Each individual laser element is completely characterized and qualified through extensive test procedures. We use only the most advanced and reliable diode laser bar material from selected manufacturers.
In addition, DILAS is now distributing m2K's single emitter diode lasers. m2K offers tapered amplifiers for use in external cavity and MOPA systems in wavelengths ranging from 755nm to 1064nm providing M2 beam quality as well as, diode laser single emitters in broad-area or ridge-waveguide designs within the 1.8 micron up to 2.5 microns wavelength range.
